Breakthrough Central Texas Launches Strategic AI Partnership with ClassGenius
Austin, TX, UNITED STATES, March 3, 2025 – Breakthrough Central Texas, Austin’s nonprofit organization helping students become the first in their family to earn a college degree or certificate, and ClassGenius, a leading AI-powered education technology platform provider committed to improving opportunity in education, today announced their strategic partnership which will launch at Booth #427 in SXSW EDU Expo at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
Breakthrough Central Texas and ClassGenius are partnering to demonstrate how quality and intuitive AI technology can augment human expertise and passion to amplify impact and elevate educators’ and students’ success. Through this collaboration, the entities are creating tailored science-based texts and instructional materials to support different reading and skill levels of students, for this year’s Breakthrough Central Texas Middle School Summer Academy, which serves 500 students from under-resourced communities every summer.
Each summer, Breakthrough Central Texas recruits AmeriCorps Teaching Fellows to help meet the educational needs of students and prepare them for the academic school year. Lesson plans created with the help of ClassGenius AI technology helps these educators maximize time within the classroom and focus on students’ learning needs and objectives. This future-focused mindset prepares educators to become leaders in an increasingly technology-driven world.
