When we talk to teachers we consistently hear the same feedback: “I went into teaching because I’m passionate about inspiring the next generation, but so much of my time is taken up with busy work that distracts me from what matters most: my students.” With classrooms getting fuller every year, curriculums getting more demanding, and schedules getting tighter, teachers are struggling more than ever to juggle all their tasks. “If only,” they say, “there were more than 24 hours in a day!”

That’s why we created ClassGenius: a Public Benefit EdTech initiative deeply committed to empowering educators and addressing the challenges of teacher shortages and burnout. 

ClassGenius can’t add more hours to your day – but it can shorten them. Think of it as a Digital TA: a resource with an endless library of content to assist teachers in creating assessments and learning exercises at the click of a button. Because teachers can upload their own content and customize the assessments themselves, they maintain their own creativity and values. By creating quality  reading comprehension exercises and content assessments based on a teacher’s own material, ClassGenius can do in 5 minutes what one teacher – or even one working with a Human TA – might do in an hour.
